The AKhappenings Process for All Inclusive Elopement Packages in Alaska
1. Hire AKhappenings
Once you decide you want to let me help you plan your big day I will send over my contract, you will review it, ask any questions you have, sign, and then pay the deposit to secure your date!
2. Pick a location
Whether you have a spot in mind or have no idea where to begin, I will spend hours researching to find the best location for your ceremony, and a stunning spot for you and your honey to soak it all in, celebrate, and enjoy your big day!
3. Time to Design
Let’s put on our creative thinking caps! I love this part! We will brainstorm ideas feel like you as a couple, and I will bring your vision to fruition through an intentional design process!
4. The Dream Team
I will recommend vendors who I believe are a good fit for your style, budget and personality ranging from florists to photographers. These are the people who will help us bring your elopement vision to life!
5. Plan the Itinerary
This is more than just your average elopement day timeline, it’s all the details including what you want to do on your day with behind the scenes logistics to make sure it all comes together in the most efficient and stress free way possible!
6. Elopement Day
Woohoo! The day you have been waiting for is HERE!!! You relax while I handle all the details! Time to marry your person and enjoy your wedding day!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Jordan for our elopement. She was very kind and knowledgeable. Coming from Missouri, we were unsure of where the best places for photos would be and she had many suggestions and recommendations to choose from. She coordinated all of our vendors seamlessly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing for the wedding day. One of the original locations we had planned to go to was not accessible due to the amount of rain Alaska had recently seen, but Jordan was quick to come up with options for other locations that had a similar vibe to where we were planning to go initially. Her communication throughout the process was professional and timely. We could not have asked for a more perfect and personalized experience. Jordan did a fantastic job receiving very little from us as far as specific details we wanted and turning our day into one we will never forget. With that, she did find a way to incorporate all of the little things we did ask for. It was very important that our children were included and Jordan did just that!! Going as far to even entertain our littlest for some quick photos!! The planning process was completely stress free which is exactly why we chose an elopement.
