Helicopter Ceremony on a Glacier

Chanelle and Brett brought their closest friends on a breathtaking helicopter ride with Marathon Helicopters, landing on a remote glacier for their ceremony. The scene was otherworldly—towering ice, rolling fog, and the kind of quiet you can feel in your chest. Surrounded by their people and the stillness of Alaska, the moment felt quiet, powerful, and entirely their own.

Tacos + Tequila Glacier-Side Snacks by Private Chef

Following the ceremony, Chef Todd Ritter of Alaska Roots set up a gourmet spread and tequila flights with the glacier as their backdrop. It felt less like a wedding and more like a once-in-a-lifetime expedition — shared with your favorite people.

Reception at Miller’s Landing — A Floral Dream

Back at Miller’s Landing, guests were welcomed into a romantic candlelit reception under a canopy filled with flowers. Together with Bloomsbury Blooms, we designed a tablescape layered with rich blooms, hand-tied menus, and glowing candlelight — every detail reflecting the couple’s intimate, elevated vision.

Even when the power went out mid-dinner, the mood stayed high. The team pivoted, using a BBQ to keep the courses coming while guests laughed and sipped on delicious wine.

A Love Story Soaked in Rain and Joy

It rained all day—and it didn’t matter one bit. From the start, this wedding was about embracing Alaska, not fighting it. The rain added mood, texture, and even more intimacy to the celebration. The Adams Co. captured it all with deep, cinematic tones, and Josh Vassar’s video work will no doubt bring tears to anyone watching. This wasn’t a day about perfection — it was about love, presence, and joy.
